Class Schedule and Descriptions
Beginners Vinyasa: Are you new to yoga? we've all been there! enjoy a flow through the yoga basics with the use of modifications and props.
candlelight vin/yin: be present on your mat with the ambiance of a candlelight yoga class. start and end class by deepening and relaxing your body into yin poses while still enjoying a gentle vinyasa flow.
mixed level vinyasa: whether you are newer to yoga or a more advance yogi, all levels are welcome to these classes! modifications will be offered to help meet your practice level wherever you may be in your yoga journey!
karma class: allowing yoga to be accessible to everyone in the community is so important to us at soulflower yoga. our karma class is a mixed level class offered at a reduced rate of $8.
hatha vinyasa: enjoy flowing through your practice with alignment in mind. holding poses for longer will help your body learn and feel the proper alignment of each pose while still being able to deepen and relax.
Reiki & Restore: This class provides deep relaxation by supporting the body in longer held positions. We will use props and focus on the breath to release deep rooted tension. This practice balances the immune and nervous systems, stills the body and uplifts the mind. It is great if you experience frequent headaches, anxiety or insomnia. reiki healing will re-align your energy!
Yoga & Barre: take elements from ballet, yoga and Pilates and combine them all into one class, what do you get? a full body, low impact, muscle toning, slightly sweaty class and of course a lot of fun! the class starts with 3o minutes of barre and ends with stretching and relaxation during 30 minutes of yoga bliss. we provide the barre, light weights [if you’d like to use them] and the instructor, you just need to bring yourself, water, a positive/fun attitude and most importantly + absolutely required, socks with grips on the bottom [we have some for sale at the studio if you need them]. come give it a try!
Go with the flow: this class will help you dive deeper into your yoga practice and learn to utilize a plethora of props to help us explore yoga in a new light. this is class is open to all students that are willing to keep an open mind and just go with the flow, especially those who are looking to transition from a beginner level class to a mixed level class!
